Clear Lake has beautiful parks for enjoyment and are open to the public to use and reserve.
The Parks & Recreation Department is committed to providing a safe and quality park system for the residents of Clear Lake. Park rules exist to assure that park visitors have a pleasant experience. Several shelters may be reserved in advance for events, family gatherings, and much more. Others are available on a first come basis for the public to enjoy.
All parks close at 11 pm by City Ordinance.
Vandalism
If you see anyone abusing the equipment or buildings in the City parks, please call the Police Department at 357-2186 or the Parks and Recreation Department at 357-7010. Together, we can keep our parks looking their best!
Dogs in the City Parks
All pets must be kept on a leash in all park areas (including walking trails) and are not allowed in pavilions. Pets are not allowed in City Park during large community functions by City ordinance. Pet owners are required to pick up and properly dispose of their pet's waste.
Appreciation and thanks are extended to responsible pet owners who, along with their pets, respect other park users and the park system. "Two sets of eyes are better than one!" If, at any time, you are in the park system and are harassed by a loose or uncontrollable dog or see someone not picking up after their pet, please contact the Clear Lake Police Department at 641-357-2186.
PLEASE NOTE: Clear Lake has a DOG PARK located at the Outlet Recreation Complex on 12th Ave S.
