How do you become a member of the Fire Department?

To become a member, you have to be at least 18 years old and in good physical condition. If you meet these requirements, then you need to fill out an application available from any fire fighter. After you fill out an application, you will be asked for an interview with the recruiting committee. They will go through a series of questions they feel are important and will make a recommendation to the department. If the recommendation is good, you are brought on as a probationary fire fighter. After 6 months as a probationary fire fighter the department evaluates how well you have done and they vote to make you a fire fighter.
