Street Rehabilitation Project work to begin April 3rd weather permitting

The City of Clear Lake is proceeding with a Street Rehabilitation Project located on the streets shown on the attached map.  The project is generally located north of Main Avenue, south of 7th Avenue North, west of North 20th Street, and east of North 10th Street.  Division 1 of the project is scheduled to begin around April 3, 2023, weather pending, and continue for approximately 10 weeks.  Division 1 work includes curb and gutter patching, ADA sidewalk ramps, and miscellaneous concrete street and driveway patching.  The project will begin with Segment 1 on North 12th Street and proceed sequentially through Segment 7.  As the work progresses each street segment will be closed to thru traffic, however local access will be maintained to the best extent possible.  Note in certain areas curb and gutter is being replaced in front of driveways which will require the driveway to be closed for the duration of that curb and gutter and driveway restoration work.  Notice will be provided prior to the work taking place in front of a driveway that will block access.

Division 2 work will take place starting after July 10, 2023 and be completed prior to August 25, 2023.  Division 2 work includes pavement scarification, full depth asphalt pavement patching, and asphalt resurfacing work of street segments 1 thru 6.
